Overview
CarryForward (carryforward.ai) is operated by Accillion AS, a Norwegian company. This policy covers the CarryForward web application and Chrome browser extension.
What we collect
Account data
When you register, we store your email address and a hashed password. We do not store payment card details — payments are handled by Stripe.
Conversation content
The extension captures the text content of AI conversations on Claude.ai, ChatGPT (chat.openai.com), and Google Gemini (gemini.google.com) that you choose to import. This content is transmitted to our servers and stored in your CarryForward workspace. We do not capture content from any other sites.
Usage data
We record when extractions run and how many tokens are consumed per extraction. We do not use third-party analytics.
Extension storage
The extension stores your API token and workspace URL in chrome.storage.local on your device. This data never leaves your browser except as authentication headers on requests to app.carryforward.ai.
What we do not collect
- We do not read browsing history
- We do not collect data from any site other than the three AI tools above
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
- We do not use your conversation content to train models
How we use your data
Conversation content and extracted project state are used solely to provide the CarryForward service to you. We do not access your workspace data except to operate the service (backups, debugging with your permission).
Data storage
Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the EU. Uploaded transcript files are stored on Cloudflare R2.
Data retention
You can delete your account at any time. Deletion removes all conversations, extracted items, and context packs from our systems within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie for authentication. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
